Home to Schunnemunk Shadow Stables and Hollybush Classical Dressage Center. Our two locations are located less than a mile from one another and are mirror operations. We are a full service boarding facility and offer training and horseback riding lessons daily. Located in scenic Mid-Hudson Valley, NY, our relaxed, family atmosphere offers something for everyone; from beginner pony lessons right up to Show Prep clinics – from Classical Dressage to Western Pleasure. We have an active show program which is maintained for those interested riders. Of course, pleasure horses are always welcome as our facilities are free of the pressures to compete and show. We offer superior horse care and our excellent, experienced staff create a safe and relaxed environment for our horses and riders. Our tranquil settings are a horse lovers “paradise”.
Our convenient locations between train stations and bus stops make us easily accessible to our Manhattan customers – only 60 miles North of NYC. Our local customers find our facilities ideal as we are within 10 minutes of major routes and highways like 17, 9W, 84 and the NYS Thruway.
